Parish of LegerwoodLegerwood is a parish, which lies in the Scottish Borders Council Area, some 7 miles (11 km) north of Melrose and 11 miles (17 km) northwest of Kelso in the Scottish Borders.
It is located in the old county of Berwickshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 35.6 sq. km (13.7 sq. miles). Legerwood has 5 neighbouring parishes; namely Earlston, Gordon, Lauder, Melrose and Westruther.
