A village of Perth and Kinross, Forgandenny lies a mile (1.5 km) south of the River Earn and 4 miles (6 km) southwest of Perth. Strathallan School, which was founded in 1912 and moved from Bridge of Allan to Freeland House in 1920, lies between the village and the river.
