Fasnakyle
Highland

A settlement at the junction of Glen Affric with Strath Glass in Highland Council Area, Fasnakyle lies 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Cannich. Fasnakyle includes the mid-19th century Fasnakyle House, a Free Church (1868) and a single-arch bridge over the River Glass dating from 1793. The Fasnakyle power station was built in 1952 and forms part of the Affric-Beauly Hydro-Electric Power Scheme. The Fasnakyle Wood lies to the north and the Fasnakyle Forest is a deer-forest spreads to the west.
