A location in the Forest of Alyth, E Perth and Kinross, Kingseat lies at the mouth of a narrow glen that opens out into Glen Shee, 7 miles (11 km) north of Blairgowrie. On the slopes of the Hill of Kingseat to the northeast there is an ancient settlement and field system.
