Clasheddy (Clashaidy, Claisfada)
Highland

A collection of houses on the north coast of Sutherland (Highland Council Area), Clasheddy (also Clashaidy) was once a larger crofting township, named Claisfada on the First Edition of the Ordnance Survey map (1878). The settlement lies 3 miles (5 km) northwest of Bettyhill. A sizeable earthship eco-house was self-built here between 2004-11 into the side of a small hill, Cnoc a' Phobuill. Coomb Island lies just offshore.
