Dunsyre
South LanarkshireA village of South Lanarkshire, Dunsyre is located near the South Medwin Water 6 miles (9 km) east of Carnwath and 20 miles (32 km) southwest of Edinburgh. Once a seat of a barony, its kirk was a frequent retreat for Covenanters in the late 17th century.
Dunsyre Hill (401m / 1316 feet) lies to the north.
