An Exhibition of many of his surviving works was organized at the National Portrait Gallery of Scotland in 1993, and Dr Helen Smailes produced an illustrated catalogue: "Scottish Masters 13 : JOHN ZEPHANIAH BELL". As a descendant of his father, William BELL of Dundee (1761-1834), I would be very interested in hearing about any more of his surviving works. - Don Montague (don.montague@virgin.net)
