Duirinish Peninsula

A remote hammer-head shaped peninsula and district on the Isle of Skye, the Duirinish Peninsula is located in the far west of the island, 12 miles (19 km) west of Portree. Duirinish lies between Loch Dunvegan and Loch Bracadale and terminates at Dunvegan Head in the north and Idrigill Point in the south. The distinctive mountains known as MacLeod's Tables rise in the centre of the peninsula.
