A hill of NE Angus, the Hill of Corathro rises to 405m (1328 feet) between Glen Esk and Glen Lethnot, 4 miles (6.5 km) northwest of Edzell. The Hill of the Wirren lies 2 miles (3 km) to the northwest and the Muckle Burn of Kilrie flows to the north.
