A hill overlooking the southeast coast of the Kintyre Peninsula in Argyll and Bute, the Bastard rises to 188m (616 feet) to the northeast of Glen Hervie and 5½ miles (9 km) south southeast of Campbeltown. There is a dun on its eastern slopes.
