One of the Hills of Cromdale, Charn a' Ghille Chear (also Carn a Ghille Chearr) lies on the border of Highland and Moray Council Areas, between Strathspey and Strath Avon. Qualifying as a Graham, the peak rises to 710m (2329 feet) 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Grantown on Spey.
