An area of parkland in the Seafield district of Ayr, a mile (1.5 km) south of the town centre, Belleisle Park was part of the former Belleisle Estate. Today, it comprises playing fields and a fine two-storey pavilion once associated with Ayr Racecourse, which until 1907 was located here. The southern part of the former racecourse site is now occupied by Seafield Golf Course. To the south, beyond the Belleisle House Hotel, are fine gardens and a Victorian conservatory.
