Rising on the southern slopes of Fell Hill South Ayrshire, the Clauchrie Burn flows south through the Glentrool Forest, past White Clauchrie and Black Clauchrie to enter the River Cree on the border of Dumfries and Galloway, having run a course of 6 miles (10 km).
