A stream rising in plantation forest 2 miles (3 km) east of Tibbie Shiels Inn in the Scottish Borders, the Altrieve Lake flows northeast, receiving several other streams including the Altrieve Burn and Eldinhope Burn, before entering the Yarrow Water near Eldinhope.
