Ardmore

A peninsula in the NW Highlands, Ardmore lies between Loch Laxford and Loch Dughaill but is un-named on Ordnance Survey maps. Reaching 107m (351 feet) in height at Cnoc na Suil Chruthaiche, the peninsula is (2.8 km) in length and a half-mile (1 km) wide. It terminates at Ardmore Point to the west, while the isolated settlement of Ardmore lies in the east overlooking Loch a' Chadh-fi. There are several lochans located on the peninsula, the largest being Loch Eileanach.
