The Devil's Point

(Bod an Deamhain)

Rising to a height of 1004m (3294 feet) north of Glen Geusachan in Aberdeenshire, The Devil's Point acquired its name after a visit by Queen Victoria. To avoid embarrassment, the Devil's Point was offered as an alternative name to the Gaelic name of Bod an Deamhain which translates as 'The Devil's Penis'. It qualifies as a Munro.
