Loch Muck

A small loch at the head of Glen Muck in East Ayrshire, Loch Much lies on the border with Dumfries and Galloway, 3 miles (5 km) southeast of Bellsbank. It receives the Polnaskie Burn, together with two other smaller streams, and casts off the Muck Burn to the south southwest, which flows into Loch Doon. The loch lies at an altitude of 290m (950 feet) and extends to an area of 10.6 ha (26.2 acres).
