A freshwater loch in north Fife, Lindores Loch 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Newburgh. It extends over an area of 44 ha (109 acres) and has an average depth of 1.5m (5 feet). The loch offers a popular fly fishery for brown and rainbow trout. On its northwestern shore is Abdie Curling Hut, a rare example of its type built c.1860.
