Carn nan Gillean

A hill in the N of the island of Islay in Argyll and Bute, Carn nan Gillean rises to 188m (616 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) east northeast of Loch Cam and 2 miles (3 km) west of Loch Finlaggan. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar, while the tiny Loch Mhic Dhuibhi lies a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the north. There is another Carn nan Gillean on Jura, 25 miles (40 km) to the northeast.
