Niviston Hill

One of a line of summits which mark the border between East Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway, Niviston Hill rises to 460m (1509 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) southwest of Halfmerk Hill and 3 miles (5 km) northwest of Kirkconnel. Its northern slopes, those within East Ayrshire, are cloaked with plantation forest.
