An elongated spur which extends east northeast from Stob Coire a' Chearcaill in the NE of Ardgour (Highland Council Area), Braigh Bhlaich rises to 609m (1991 feet) 2½ miles (4 km) south of Loch Eil and 4½ miles (7 km) west of Fort William. To the southeast there is a steep descent which takes you into the valley of Gleann Sron a' Chreagain.
