A small loch to the south of the Ettrick Water in the Scottish Borders, Shaws Upper Loch lies on the course of the Langhope Burn, 8 miles (14 km) northwest of Hawick. A larger loch, known as Shaws Under Loch lies a half-mile (1 km) to the northeast.
