A loch and reservoir in Buchanan Parish, Stirling Council Area, Loch Arklet lies between Loch Katrine and Loch Lomond, 12 miles (19 km) northwest of Aberfoyle. It drains westwards to Loch Lomond and receives a number of streams, the largest of which, the Corriearklet Burn, flows southwards to Loch Arklet from the slopes of Beinn a' Choin. Retained by a masonry dam, the reservoir is operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water and covers an area of 206.5 ha (510 acres).
