A small lochan just behind the shore of Loch Indaal in the centre of the island of Islay in Argyll and Bute, Grunnd Loch is located 1¼ miles (2 km) northeast of Laggan Point and 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Bowmore. It extends to just 1.8 ha (4.5 acres).
