A tiny lochan on the western slopes of Glas Bheinn in the E of the island of Islay (Argyll and Bute), Lochan Dubh is situated ¾ mile (1.2 km) north of Loch Allallaidh. It lies at a height of 300m (984 feet) and extends to an area of 0.7 ha / 1.8 acres.
