Meall nan Aighean

(Creag Mhor)

Meall nan Aighean (also known as Creag Mhor) is one of four peaks in a range which forms a horseshoe-shaped ridge extending for 5½ miles (9 km) from east to west on the north side of Glen Lyon in S Highland. Classified as a Munro, it is 981m (3218 feet) in height, with a secondary summit reaching 974m (3195 feet) a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the southwest. Unlike the rest of the range the southern slopes are fairly steep with a very wide ridge and corries that are smooth with few crags. The peak should be avoided during the stalking season since the corries are commonly used for stag shooting.
