A summit on the northwest shoulder of Beinn a' Chleibh with steep craggy sides that rise to a height of 880m (2887 feet) in E Argyll and Bute, Stob Dubh lies 1¼ miles (2 km) west southwest of Ben Lui and 5 miles (8 km) east of Dalmally.
