The John Hastie Museum

Located within Strathaven Park, Strathaven, South Lanarkshire, the John Hastie Museum is a local history museum which has exhibits on the weaving industry of the town in the 18th and 19th centuries. Also included are artefacts relating to the Covenanters and the Battle of Drumclog, local businesses and antiquities collected by John Hastie, a local businessman. The museum was established with a bequest from Hastie in 1889.
