Opened in 1996 and run by South Ayrshire Council, this short-lived centre was located within the Craigie Estate in Ayr. The Craigie Horticultural Centre once included a palm house and was home to collections of exotic plants from the Mediterranean, South America and Australia. There was also an educational visitor centre.
