Dunaskin Open-Air Museum

Located in part of the former Dalmellington Iron Works at Waterside, near Patna, in East Ayrshire, the Dunaskin Open-Air Museum celebrated the industrial history of the Doon Valley, in particular its iron and brick making and coal mining. The museum was operated by the Dalmellington & District Conservation Trust. It included audio-visual presentations, displays of industrial machinery and historic buildings, together with a reconstruction of a 19th-century cottage.

Following financial difficulties this attraction closed in 2005.
