Located within the 15th Century fort of Broughty Castle in Broughty Ferry in Dundee City, the Broughty Castle Museum has displays on local history, arms and armour, sea-shore life and the former Dundee whaling industry.
The Whaling Gallery illustrates historical aspects of the whaling industry, with particular emphasis given to the Arctic fishery. Included are a small collection of whaling logbooks, Inuit artefacts and scrimshaw work, together with a photographic archive.
