Locheilside Railway Station

Locheilside Railway Station (Gael: Taobh Loch Iall) comprises a simple request-stop halt on the West Highland Line, 2¾ miles (4.5 km) west northwest of Blaich and 6 miles (10 km) west of Corpach in Highland Council Area. Located on the north shore of Loch Eil, this station was opened in 1901 and comprises a single platform, serving a single-track line. It is preceded by Loch Eil Outward Bound Railway Station, 3¾ miles (6 km) to the east, and followed by Glenfinnan, 6 miles (10 km) to the west northwest. Operated by ScotRail, Locheilside Railway Station is unstaffed and was used by only 268 passengers in 2009-10.
