Graystone Hill

A summit on the edge of a substantial plantation of coniferous forest in the W of South Lanarkshire, Graystone Hill rises to 317m (1040 feet) next to the boundary with East Ayrshire which runs along the Avon Water. It forms a ridge with Mill Rig to the east. Dungavel is located 2¾ miles (4.5 km) east northeast. There is another Graystone Hill 19 miles (30 km) to the south in Dumfries & Galloway.
