A hill to the east of Langholm in Dumfries and Galloway, Whita Hill rises to a height of 355m (1163 feet). The Malcolm Monument at the summit commemorates General Sir John Malcolm (1769 - 1833). At the roadside to the north is a memorial to the poet Hugh MacDiarmid (1892 - 1978).
