North Strathfarrar Ridge

A ridge lying to the north of Glen Strathfarrar, running east for approximately 8 miles (13 km) from a point 2 miles (3 km) northeast of Loch Monar. It comprises four Munros; namely Sgurr a' Choire Ghlais (1083m / 3553 feet), Sgurr Fhuar-thuill (1049m / 3442 feet), Sgurr na Ruaidhe (993m / 3258 feet) and Carn nan Gobhar (992m / 3255 feet). The ridge also includes two Munro tops (Creag Ghorm a' Bhealaich - 1030m / 3380 feet - and Sgurr na Fearstaig - 1015m / 3330 feet) and several lower mountains. The North Strathfarrar ridge provides challenging high-level hill walking.
