Ballengeich

Ballengeich is the name given to a steep pass at the back of Stirling Castle, Stirling Council Area. King James V (1512-42) wandered the countryside disguised as the 'Gudeman of Ballengeich' so as to more easily explore his kingdom and interact with his subjects.
