A prominent mountain, which meets the criterion for a Corbett, in SW Highland, the summit at Garbh Bheinn rises to 885m (2903 feet) 4 miles northwest of Inversanda Bay and 6 miles (10 km) east of Strontian. A lower summit to the southwest reaches at 823m (2700 feet). In 1958, this summit gave its name to a lookalike in Greenland.
