Millgrane Hill

A little hogback in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Millgrane Hill rises to 69m (226 feet) a quarter-mile (0.4 km) east of Low Glasnick and 1¼ miles (2 km) east northeast of Kirkcowan. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area, with its principal axis aligned N-S indicating the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier. Confusingly, another Millgrane Hill lies only 2½ miles (4 km ) to the north.
