Shed Hill

A markedly elongated hillock in The Machars of Galloway, Shed Hill rises to 75m (246 feet) a mile (1.8 km) northwest of Whitefield Loch and 1½ miles (2.5 km) east southeast of Glenluce. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area and is aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of glacial flow.
