A hill in Annandale, Dumfries and Galloway, The Knowes lies on the left bank of the Dryfe Water and rises to 206m (675 feet) a quarter-mile (0.5 km) west of Mid Hill, a half-mile (0.8 km) northeast of Sibbaldbie. The Hewke Burn passes immediately to the north.
