Badcaul, a rivulet and a bay in Eddrachillis parish, Sutherland. The rivulet brings down the superfluence of a chain of small lakes, which abound in trout; and it runs about 6 miles westward to the head of the bay. The church of Eddrachillis and a public school are at the head of the bay, 8½ miles NW of Kyle-Sku Ferry. The bay forms a well-sheltered sea-inlet, about 1½ mile long; and has, across its month, a picturesque and numerous group of small islands.
