A small interpretation centre on the Glen Tanar Estate in Aberdeenshire, Glen Tanar Visitor Centre (previously known as the Braeloine Visitor Centre) occupies the former Braeloine Cottage overlooking the Water of Tanar, 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Dinnet. The centre includes displays on the natural and cultural heritage of the area, which forms part of the Cairngorms National Park, together with outdoor activities available on the estate, such as salmon fishing, walking, mountain biking, horse riding and traditional sporting activities. The estate also offers a Wildlife Watch and Black Grouse Safaris, favoured by photographers. Refurbished in 2011, the centre is run by the Glen Tanar Charitable Trust, which also provides a Ranger Service.
