The Gazetteer for Scotland History Timeline

The Scottish History Timeline provides an alternative route to access the Gazetteer for Scotland. The timeline incorporates thousands of Scottish historical events including the births and deaths of famous Scots, archaeological sites and historic buildings in Scotland, together with the dates of battles and other cultural events. Each event is colour coded, with a key given below. The timeline is fully linked into the vast store of information which forms the Gazetteer for Scotland database.
