City of Edinburgh

A hamlet in the City of Edinburgh Council Area, Roddinglaw lies within an island of land located between the M8 motorway, A8 road and to the west of the A720 Edinburgh bypass, 6 miles (10 km) west southwest of the city centre. It comprises a few cottages and a small business park. The government agency Science and Advice for Scottish Agriculture (SASA) occupies offices and laboratories immediately to the south, incorporating the former Roddinglaw Farm now run as part of Gogarbank Farm beyond.
