A settlement on the Solway coast of Dumfries and Galloway, Sandyhills lies 3 miles (5 km) east of Rockcliffe. Here the Fairgirth Lane flows into Sandyhills Bay, an inlet of the Solway Firth. There is also a campsite and caravan park.
