Lumsden

Aberdeenshire

A small Aberdeenshire village founded on barren moorland about 1825, Lumsden is situated at the western foot of the Correen Hills, 3 miles (5 km) south of Rhynie. The Lumsden valley here marks the division between the watersheds of the River Bogie to its north and the River Don to the south.
