A locality on the northwest coast of the Sutherland, Kearvaig lies 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Cape Wrath. The Kearvaig River, which rises as headstreams 4 miles (6.5 km) to the south, enters an inlet of the sea here and to the north the pinnacle of Stack Clo Kearvaig lies beyond the immense sandstone cliffs of Clo Kearvaig, which face the Atlantic Ocean.
