A locality in South Ayrshire, Bargany lies on the Girvan Water 2 miles (3 km) west southwest of Dailly and 4 miles (6 km) northeast of Girvan. Bargany village has all but disappeared but Bargany House and Estate have been extensively redeveloped, its main attractions being its wooded walks and gardens with rhododendrons.
