Trottick Stores

A suburb of Dundee City in which public housing predominates, Trottick lies on the Dighty Water 2 miles (3 km) north of the city centre. A bleachfield and flax-spinning mill were established here in the late 18th century, with a row of single-storey stone cottages (once thatched) built in 1790 to house workers for the latter.

Mains Parish Church, to the south, dates from 1801 and has now been converted to residential use, with a modern church building constructed nearby.
