Ramornie


Fife

A hamlet in Fife, lying a mile (1.5 km) east of Ladybank and a half-mile (1 km) west of Pitlessie. Ramornie Mill is close by. The hamlet and surrounding estates are associated with the Heriot and Haig families, and the name Ramornie is thought to derive from the 'Rath of the Morgans'.
